Adjusted my front links to push the axle back about 1/2 inch. Tightened shit down in steering. I figure I need to come up with a bracket to double shear the drag link on the steering arm. Not overly concerned, but I stared at it until I was sure I couldn't make it appear by simply wishing it into existence.

Jerry cans mounted. I broke the top bit and didn't want to get fancy. So I shoved it further back and cut the top bracing off so I can just slide it in instead of wrestling it. Now I just have to mount the co2 bottle on the driver's side and start wheeling to see what breaks.

Today I wanted to get CO2 mount in, but wife had other plans. So I had to get add a leaf put on the Tundra to tow this fucker around. I've camped enough in tents during deployments to last a lifetime.

It was pretty rad, I walked everything without much need for spotter or adjustments.

My buddy's Duramax had some troubles due to being so long. Hung up mostly on radius arm mounts and tight turn spots. He's gonna run into problems on Sluice and Cadillac I think. Other than that, shouldn't be too bad.

Also, you're more than welcome to join our rag-tag group at Icehouse Rd/Loon lake Saturday morning.

Quite right, the worst you'll do is shred the front and be forced to go SAS anyway. Sounds like a win-win to me.

Yup. Pretty amazing what a IFS tacoma on 33s, with 1 locker and a crawl box will do. The only thing I really gained with the SAS was the ability to lock the front without worrying about grenadeing the RP or the axle shafts.

Just wait until you start to research crawler haulers...then you’ll be in the market for a new tow rig :)

Haven't went through all the bullshit yet, but yeah, need to get rid of the fake beadlocks and weld up some proper rings.

All this bling shit and no beadlocks?!?! Wtf?

I like my procomp vapor or series whatever they are calling them these day, they are nicely priced for a beadlock and pretty beefy.

Hahahaha yeah, stupid. I bought them because price and I didn't look at them hard. Had my mom go pick them up, pictures were meh, and she didn't know the difference.

Since I have 16s, beadlocks are a bitch to find. Raceline makes some. what I may do is just strip off all the bullshit on these, have some rings built, and weld them up.

Also, some pictures from this weekend's Rubicon trip:
