Hah, November would be the "save this much by this time date" so that would work.

I think 7 months is long enough for me to sort out all the spline counts and other bullshit. And here I thought I was intimately acquainted with my truck.

Yeah, you will likely need the cable shifter. Also be sure to verify the flange pattern with your driveshaft, their triple toy flange didn't fit mine. You can cut the site tube too, 2.5 qts out, 2.5 in.

Since it's a trail rig, dont mess around with TOY bullshit cases and crawlers. Get the atlas and do it right the first time. My friend got his 4 SPD through jess at high angle driveline and got a nice discount, this was also 10yrs ago.

You don't *need* cable shifters with the atlas 4-speed IMO. I went with the mechanical linkage on mine, and was able to bring them up right next to the factory shifters. My leg barely rubs the far left one, but that can be fixed... I'm just lazy and haven't done it.

Reason I mention this is I've heard quite a few stories of how much of a pain it is to get cable shifters to work correctly.

I fucking love you guys for talking me into the Atlas!

BTW, under it's in weight in the rear. Gotta get the rear loaded with mounted shit, the front in then play with ride height.

Lower shock mounts changed. I need to drop the tops by 1.5 inch.

Orders shock tabs because I'm tired of the plasma. :)

My crossmember came out crooked. Fucking thermodynamics. I'm not changing it. Also got the new radiator and trans cooler installed.

Radiator looks beefy, what’d you go with? Does it have an internal trans cooler like the stock ones or is the external taking all of the brunt?

I’ve been eye balling the champion one myself even before attempting this business. Can’t have too much cooling when crawling.

If you dont paint fangs on that radiator and paint the wheel wells to look like eyeballs this entire build will be deemed a complete failure :D. This front end shot makes your truck look like a cobra or a menacing looking monster.

Physics is a bitch!! Its amazing watching the parts pull themselves in different directions based on the weld patterns.

Griffin racing radiator, was the only place I could choose by dimensions instead of fitment. Went with the 15x22.5x3" and then got that little trans cooler. I might use that with my power steering and go a little bigger on the trans cooler.

Sigh, wait until I sheet the inner fenders lol.

I was mad as fuck about that crossmember, so I fixed it.

    Grrrrrr.

    Waiting on that knuckle. :(

Got the box installed-ish. You can see my 10mm hex to 19mm conversion. Waiting on fittings and trying to sort out brake lines this weekend. Got the nitrogen tank and regulator.... But waiting on fill tool for shocks. Notice a theme?

Also waiting for my tube guy to get back so I can go grab a couple 18' sticks. If that happens I'll get the cell mounted, battery mounted and sort my shit out.
