ig1 and ig2 fuses

    Winch bull bar led lights illuminated 4x4 switch
    i need to replace these 2 fuses but being disabled i cant get under the dash to do it i called about 20 mechanics they waned anywhere from 75-105.00 to replace those fuses i also need a neg bat cable end put on the truck thats another 25.00 -75.00 to do an d they wont use my parts they told me they would buy the parts and charge me for them one even uses the same store that i got the fuses from but what i paid 1.5 cents for they want 1,25 for each gone are the days when you could stop at a shope and get help without being charged a arm in a leg they say that they cant warranty's my parts who in the hell warranty's a fuse or a bat end

    What hasn't been modified?
    Stop by a part store in the afternoon/evening when there not busy. More than likely they will do it for ya.

    south of ft worth i think the person installing off road lights shorted the bat out and i blew the fuses i replaced the ones under the hood just cant get to the ones under the dash

    Update: We isolated it to (at least I hope) the brake switch.

    Also, OP did not murder me.

    he did all that he could and more than i asked him to great guy hope to be able to pay it forward now if i can just find a place to get the switch i guess i will be good to go ps i would have murdered him if i thought it would have fixed the problem im just about to that stage i think ive have done all there is to do except the switch many thx again

    he is a great guy im about 50 miles south of ft worth he drove out and did his best i ordered the switch so maybe he can come back and help me again i dont expect him to do it for nothing i get paid once a month and when my ck comes in im sending him something for his time and gas

    Kudos to @Naveronski for helping a fellow TW brother out but I'm a tad confused on how a faulty brake switch has anything related to the original issues with the blown fuses caused by faulty offroad lights install? Not questioning the diagnosis but for my knowledge. Are the brake lights out and shifter locked in park?

    yes the switch works the brake light and seems to control the shifting i dont think the fuses had anything to do with the switch gong bad just my luck i started replacing fuses first and have worked down to the switch

    So did you get your offroad lights reinstalled properly? Did the installer reversed the +/- wiring or not use any relays? I would make the installer absorb the repair costs if it's from a bad install. Please update if the switch fixed your issues.

    yes got the lights fixed so if i can get the switch in im good the new switch has a collar on it looks like its to adjust the switch but mine did not have the collar so im not sure if i need it or not
