IG1 fuse continues to blow

07 Tacoma. It is now my daughters truck. I added a 3" lift, wheels/tires so on and so forth. Her mom and step dad also bought her some Halo lights for it in February. They installed them. In the last month her truck continues to blow the IG1 fuse under dash. I know that the fuse controls a host of things on the truck and myself I have traced several of these as well as a mechanic. Two occasions I have taken it to mechanic and the fuse be blown. He can put the wired fuse for dash viewing and it will operate without blowing it and then get it back to her and it blows. The last time he had it 3 days without it blowing and I drove it 2 days with the wired fuse in it....never blew. She got it back and next morning it blew. So yesterday I was playing with it and rechecked the halo light wiring that you have to get power from the driving lamps connections. I just squeezed them tighter and put fuse in... It worked. She drove it to store this morning and it blew again. So I repeated the squeeze on the connectors and it didn't blow fuse again. Drives to church and it blows. So my dad and I disconnected the lights individually redone completely the hard wire connection for the halo lights and it continues to blow the fuse. I'm at wits end with it as well as my mechanic. Does anyone have a suggestion or had this issue?
I read the 1 thread on here about it as well but I'm having no luck. Please help
