IG1 NO. 2 blows instantly

UPDATE
I was finally able to bring electricity back to the center console turning on the AC heated seats and fan, BUT the AC still doesn't blow im slowing plugging things back in to see what blows the 10A. Will update shortly.

 

@Dm93 @TnShooter I reconnected everything but the the front radar and the fuse still hasnt blown, BUT the climate control stuff turned on but to no avail still isnt blowing air! Any ideas?

TLDR: I think i found the short in the system but the AC turns on but doesnt blow air.

 

So no air blows out of the vents?
But the AC light comes on?

Let me look at the diagrams.

Until then, plug the radar in. You are going to have to at some point anyways.

Ok. So the fuse blows when the radar is plugged in.
We are getting some where.

 

@TnShooter pre collision system still malfunction gunna assume its related to the radar?

 

@TnShooter i also found a pinched wire under the spare tire but when I did testing the only thing that kept blowing the fuse was radar, but for anyone else out there CHECK under the spare tire!!!

@TnShooter also my remote locking and unlocking from key is acting a little funny. Doesnt make the noise when i lock it.

 

If it blows immediately when the radar is plugged in, it sounds like a bad radar.
Toyota doesn't give a way to test it. I suppose you could ohm the radar where the Light Green and White/Black wires go into in.
But I don't know what readings to expect.

I can't think of any other reason the fuse would blow as soon as the radar is plugged it. It sounds like a bad radar.
And if so, you can't just "replace" it. It has to be adjusted. And what a job that is......

@Bishop84 can tell you about that. you have to measure distances, level the truck, and use a scan to to program it.

 

@TnShooter im not to worried about the radar as ill be more than happy to just buy a new one or live without it, Im more stressed about why my A/C isnt working and i need it for this extreme weather. The blower and the AC dont work, any ideas?

 

Then I would say you found your short, is that plug right at the radar module or is it a sub-harness?

 

With the radar unplugged and the fuse in (not blown) does the air blow?
Are ALL the relays back in place?

 

Check htr fuse

 

Might as well check the 30A CDS fuse too.
The controls head gets power from that fuse.

If we blew a 30A or 50A fuse. We aren't done diagnosing yet.......I hope neither are blown.
