Thanks guys! I can't wait to take this out on a trip. I got the mattress in yesterday and I stayed the night to give it a trial. It's super comfy!

I haven't released the name yet since I'd like the loose ends to be tied up and they can offer a complete product. They are great at building camper shells, but currently can't do the fabric in house, so standardizing the roof/bed is key to maximize production and reduce costs as much as possible. I built my own fabric becuase the local guy was too slow and some things needed to get tested out. My day job is operations management so I'm looking to combine what they do best, with this new concept so you can all order and get campers fast. My hopes are low intro price and fast turn around.

If you know who it is, I don't mind you calling them, but if you do please do the following: 1) Tell them you saw my camper and what something like it. 2) Make sure you ask if the campers come complete WITH fabric sides and bed platform.

Right now they will build you anything, but you won't get fabric, maybe a bed platform but not the side fabric. I can tell you from experience having someone outside engineer and fit the fabric will not be cheap on a one off basis. For the few to know I do encourage you to call and politely ask when they will be ready so I can move things along faster.

I'm also waiting on a new bumper that should be ready soon from Bruteforce. @Porter707, @tacomgee and I are heading down to get some treats. Once that's done I should have the truck picture and video ready.

Yeah man! Let me know. I can always just make the power line as long as you need it with fuses at both ends.

Subd. This build is dope! I always wanted a flippac but missed out. Habitat is pricey and I'd actually rather have the sleeping area over the cab to minimize the space I need to deploy it. Your build seems like it will solve both of those. Great job!

    Hey @Iggy,

Question i know you been busy, but have you by chance measured from the ground to the highest point on the camper shell? Wondering if you will still beable to go in parking garages or stuff thats either 7.6 or 8.0' in clearance. also how high does the rear door sit wondering if i can fit my fridge on top of my truck vault within the shell.

    Thanks!

Pricing with options came out slightly higher than I hoped... wish they were closer so I could save on delivery costs. Anyone planning a trip from California to the NW later this summer want to haul it for gas and beer money?

I used my powers of internet deduction to find the company responsible. :spy:

And a revised price quote may have just brought this down to my budget....

Wow. I drive slower (65 - 70), but averaged 13.5 corrected mpg's on 35's and 4.88's. Also 6-speed with the low overdrive like you. Probably around 6000 with gear, but that will be increasing soon. Got 14.5 mpgs on stock gears with the 4wc on MT pizza cutters at 6700 lbs.

I'm pretty sure it's an aero issue. When I'm inside or following the packat 75-80, I can get like 16. When I'm out of the pack it's eat a dick time.
