Dirt King LCA's huh?! You gotta keep me posted on how those turn out for you. I've been eyeing them for a while but haven't been able to justify it yet. Also, do you have a link for those cargo tie down rails you used for your fridge?

Yeah Nate! I'll be installing those tomorrow. My LCA bushings went out so the cost of new factory LCA's plus uni ball conversion of the ball joint came really close to the cost of these so I went for it.

I was going to get the TC arms, but I couldn't get them in time and these were available. I'm glad I did! These don't require spacers and I don't plan on running dual shocks.

Here are the tie downs I used:

I don't recommend doing this alone. It took me forever! More pics after alignment tomorrow.

Trying to torque down the uni ball bolts alone was a pain. They need to be 180ft/lbs before you install the LCA. It took some effort to get everything to line up.

AHH! I went to check in on my truck at the tire shop and the alignment tabs broke. They're getting welded now with some bar stock. It's been one thing or another with this truck the last couple of weeks.

How I feel about my 35 situation.

HAHA!! Dude, that's one thing I've also come to realize, that it's always SOMETHING!. Just when you think things are going smoothly, something stupid comes up that ends up taking 5 times as long.

Yeah man! It's been a crazy couple of weeks at work and the truck drama didn't help. But she's home now! With your MTR's do have some soft side walls? On the Duratrac's I get a "floaty" feeling from the give the sidewalls have.

For sure! I think I may go back and redo all of them.

Initial impressions on the Dirtking LCA's are great. They firm up the steering and it feels more responsive since a lot of the play is removed. I think the combo of delrin bushings and the uni ball really help out. Also, I think I may be getting .5"-1" of extra droop from them. When I had everything button up I had to jack up the truck more to be able to mount the tires.

It's going to take some getting used to! The steering doesn't return as fast as stock and the gearing is sluggish but not horrible. I'll take a good pic tomorrow!

I headed towards Gold Lake to camp for 3 nights. 50 miles away I hit a storm with snow. FML
