    Some more...

    9. Will there be any interior lighting options?

    10. Do you plan to offer roof racks/tracks for additional accessories?

    11. What weight load will the roof/rack be able to carry and still open?

    12. Do you have any plans in place to allow items to be mounted on the sides of the camper (bottom half)? Things like awnings and lights. I'm specifically interested in mounting the AluCab shadow awning, which is quite heavy and requires a very rigid mounting setup.

    13. Do you anticipate any issues with opening/closing/using the tent in very cold (-30C) weather? Metals can stick together, struts can become hard to operate, etc.

    14. Will the fabric/canvas be removable, so that it can be user-replaced should it get damaged? Or washed, altered, etc.

    15. The interior, aluminum framing is looking good. Any chance some of those pieces can have extrusions cut into them, so that accessories can be mounted by sliding in a bolt? M8 bolt size would be awesome, to match FrontRunner offerings. Or at least some evenly-spaced holes/threads/riv-nuts/etc. so that things can be attached that way.

@here4cake thanks for all the questions! All those questions will be answered at launch, we have taken the time to address many many concerns already and made it all part of the design. We look forward to show you everything at the unveiling. I don't want to sound all secretive, but we are focused on getting everything right.

Okay. Just want to point out that for prospective buyers who are in the market now, or plan to be in the next few months, earlier info (even if not 100% accurate), may make or break a purchasing decision. There are various options already in the market (all of which you know about), and with spring/summer coming out, there may be folks who are on the fence about waiting for your product vs. buying something else. These kinds of big purchases/builds always take time to prepare for and to realize, so having even partial info earlier rather than later may make a big difference.

Myself, I can live with a few more months of being "in the dark," so to speak, but by then I'll be getting pretty close to the date by which I'll need to decide which direction I want to go in, and while I'm loving all of what's been shown so far and am very interested, I'd be hesitant to commit to unknowns.

    Just food for thought.

I completely understand that, and it's why we are hustling to get you a product you will like right out of the gate in a timely manner. We've been testing and trying many different options now and I know you'll be happy with what have come up with. I'm very confident we will be within your purchasing period ;)

Seriously. I'm going to be so bummed if this doesn't fit my 1st gen since I sold my mint 2015 Flippac in preparation. I didn't even think about the different in bed shape (2nd gen tapers at the rear) so I may need to make some 1st gen bed rails to make it fit if it's an issue.

Not when my 1st gen has 20k on a rebuilt engine and 30k on a rebuilt transmission. Once I replace the ball joints, it is as good as new.

We’ll make sure it will works with your truck.

@Iggy and I are really excited to share the detailed information with everyone. It will have to wait until we launch though.

I will say that the camper’s weight will be reasonable. We’re not sacrificing strength, by using less-durable ultra-light materials, to hit a desired weight goal. Marine- grade is more in line with everyone’s camping needs than aeronautical- grade. ;)

Approximate weight is close to a rack and RTT or shell and RTT combo.
