About to change plugs, simply because I don’t know how old they are......have been proactive and changed all filters, all fluids.......just changed PCV.

there is a coil kit available to change out the boot (rubber), the spring (inside) and round seal for each coil. $35 for the six.

no issues, no codes at the moment

    worth doing?, usually done?

I blame this website, and you tube videos for my new affliction

    Yes it is worth doing.
Why? Because your mileage and the fact you are already half way there doing plugs.
    (More like 90% there)

Well good thing I got excited about changing plugs and refurbishing coils......3rd one I pulled (right side, closet to firewall, guessing #5, was coated in oil, plug was dry, so I’m catching it early.....

guessing valve cover gasket replacement with individual cylinder gaskets?

pro mechanic or DIY?.....big $ or little $

    affected side or both?

thanks in advance for the help

DIY it isn't hard to do in a few hours. The worst part is moving any interference items.

    Little $

I would just do the effected side if I was sure the other side is not leaking. And probably snug down the bolts on the other cover being careful not to strip or break off the bolt.

Anyone know what the new part numbers for OEM direct ignition coils is? Looks like the 90919-A2006 is discontinued.
