Ignition contacts??

Has any one had there's out? Working on a 99 v6 and the ignition switch is intermittent and I'm thinking the contacts are bad or just dirty. How do you get to them to check?

 

take apart dash? stereo bezel comes off leading to the bezel around ignition showing ignition.

another though, how worn is the key? ignition can also be worn. toyota SHOULD be able to cut a key if you have title in hand. however ive never asked. i know ford and a couple oems do.

 

It's not the key the ignition is worn this thing has 350,000 on it and it's all oem except for 1 timing belt that's all
