Ignition Kill Switch - Why, How, does it work?

    32" BFG ATs, Removed 2nd air filter, Brighter Reverse Lights, ARE Cap, LED maps/dome, ScanGauge II, zXe headlights
    I'd like to make an ignition kill switch that won't allow the truck to run without flipping a couple of 3 position switches to the right position.

    Is this worth it? Will it prevent theft from the average car thief?
