get an add a fuse and tap into a fuse that is ignition-based. There are several you can choose from.

I did order some “add a fuse” today, however it doesn’t look like i will be able to put the cover back on if i use these. Thanks

You can open the clip on the wire bundle going into the box and thread your aaf cable through

    Welcome to TW.

I'm going to start with the assumed/unassumed knowledge.

You do know to power the light bar with a relay, right?

Power the relay from the battery terminal, then power the switch from inside your cab. The fuse marked "p outlet no. 2" is a good one for your switch if you want it only on during ignition.

If you need a diagram there are multiple threads around here that have one. I might have one too, if you need.

    Have fun.

He still does and they're in stock. Put one on mine recently for future add a fuse activities. It even has punch outs on the side for the wires. And it's far easier to take off. Completely worth it.

I broke the factory cover on mine the first time I popped it off. Might as well accept the inevitable, because it doesn't take much. Lol
