key frequently not coming out of ignition but will sometimes if I realign my parking position. I have changed the ignition tumbler then the ignition cylinder assembly and no cure. I've purchased a used upper steering column with cylinder assembly attached but have not installed. I'm looking for any insight as to root cause and change out tips. Much thanks to any help. Truck a 2004 prerunner rear wheel drive. Tilt column.

if she is an automatic with floor/console shift, the problem is more than likely worn shifter bushings. There is a switch that needs to be depressed when it is put into park. With your left hand push and wiggle the shifter while you turn the key with your right hand and see if that is the issue.
