yeah been doing a lot of work on it lately. Well...not tons..but some fun small things. Mostly maintanice and small upgrades. Doing a big wiring/lighting upgrade right now with a switch pro 9100(lol) and some DD S3 C2 lights. Plus have other plans, whole turbo kit sitting in the garage for it some day..

oh yeah! i reconize your tag now. Long time! haha

Good choice. I really did like them. They didn't last long before their first battle scar. Since then the whole ring on all of them is basically scars on top of scars hahaha

Hit up the Pryor's this weekend even with a shit forecast of rain.

Was super worth it. I can not believe how much moisture is up there. It's so freaking green and lush. Was also pretty sloppy bit wasn't awful for an over nighter.

Tried going to the top to a spot I like but we were greatest with 5-6' of snow in the camp spot. So went back down and found a nice spot in the trees.

I randomly threw in the shade thing I bought for the horse race years ago. Sucker might live in the kit now. Was awesome cause we got there and it rained for a good hour. Stopped long enough to enjoy eating our steak by the fire. Then started back up in the morning. Was nice to make breakfast in the dry.

Didn't explore too much since it was sloppy but tried a couple of new roads and went to a cave.

    Solid over nighter.

Looks like fun. Yeah kitchen activities are no fun in the rain. I use my little canopy for that. Always wondered how an easy-up would be . How much does it weigh and how small does it pack down to?

It's not small but not big. It's only a bit bigger than my large folding chair honestly. Maybe 35lbs? It was way easier to put up and take down than your awning I think. And obviously covers a lot larger area so side rain is less of an issue. Fits neatly into my packing setup. I think it's be handy for sun too really.

An EZUP has been a staple of my packing gear for years now. Like you said it's not small but when you can't run a dedicated awning it's great. Have used it in all types of weather, ridiculously hot days doing trail repairs, pouring rain, and even snow storms.

With the wall it made life much easier on this trip with negative degree wind chills. Not to mention it doesn't have to be always in the same place in relation to the truck. As much as I always want to sway away from carrying it, it has become invaluable.
