Has anyone tried a setup with an iKamper Skycamp 2.0 (or any model other than the mini) and a cargo box on top of their Tacoma? I have 5ft bed with a camper shell over it. I want to put the RTT over the cab, which would overhang the camper a little bit, and the cargo box on top of the shell pushed up against the RTT.

*** I'm looking for recommendations on a cargo box that would fit that space (or just the measurements of the space), and also wondering if I could squeeze the box right up to RTT or will it need more clearance when it's popped up. Ideally would like the largest box possible to fit on top of the camper shell, and I don't mind if it overhangs a little bit off the back.

I live in San Francisco, so keeping items in the cargo box is essential (mostly stuff for the dog and camping gear, it stays light) so no one can see it and break in. The truck bed is my dog's kingdom, 100 lb alaskan malamute that likes his space and hangs out back there when he's at work with me, so that space mostly isn't usable. Every week I finish a 60+ hr work week then head out of the city immediately, and we primarily go to cold weather spots so I'm kind of stuck on the iKamper. And I'm tired of sleeping on the snow hah. Keeping light and bulky items in the cargo box makes it way easier since it's just challenging in the city to pack up. Trying to do my research now so I don't have a period without use of the box, but it's hard to figure out the correct size without being able to measure the Skycamp when its folded up and set up.

Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

I'd recommend going to a shop that sells the boxes (REI or a specialty shop...we have a local shop called Rack 2 Roam). Open your tent in the parking lot and set up the window shade on the rear then take some measurements.
My guess is the shade is going to impact your ability to open the box when your tent is set up.
