Has anyone seen this attached to the cab of a DCSB? Any pictures? curious as to how it looks whether the camper would be too long for the cab, i got a retrax on my bed so not really able to add any shell really.

Have not seen it, but larger racks that completely cover the cab (like the rhino pioneer) are 60” in length. The Ikamper is 85”ish. That’s a foot hanging in both directions.

Somewhere I saw a post talking about the negatives of this RTT. Things like using Velcro straps to keep it closed, mediocre stitching on the fabric, not great fabric quality, some other things I don’t remember.

However, even for 3k, I think those trade offs are still worth it. I love the design and concept. I want more people to get their hands on one and I’ll go from there.

hmmmm, sounds like probably should wait a year and see where they're at. Seeing as it's a new product i'm not amazed there's some negatives at this point, now time to just sit back and wait for more info and see where the company goes from there...

I went back and checked mine just to make sure.. no velco straps. They started with rubber straps and have since updated to a stronger version (which included giving the new version to all of those that had the old one, and the tools to install it). They have had some bumps, but I have received updated parts a couple of times as they figured new things out. Also, I am happy with the customer service. They made the mistake of sending me the wrong color (got it mixed with someone in a nearby country), they gave me the option of paying to have it painted, $500 in cash or $750 in credit for expansions/upgrades.

That’s awesome to hear! Customer service is crucial for start-up companies and it seems like they’re nailing it! Have any pics or a thread about yours?

    *EDIT*
Never mind! Just recognized your username. I’ve had your thread bookmarked for a while now! Still waiting to see some solar!

The solar is up and installed! Not much use for it since my truck is getting picked up to be shipped back from Germany
