Man, I remember my hot girlfriend from early college years, Christine. What a porn star she was! (Malvolio stares off into space for a few
dreamy moments of quietude.) Anyhoo, she was way hotter than my then-friend’s high maintenance girlfriend, who was also pretty cute TBH. And so even though I was super happy with my setup, the only way I really enjoyed Christine was to complain a lot about my buddy’s chick (trying to remember her name — she was such a zero that I can’t even pull it out of the whisps of gray matter). She also borrowed my EOS-1’s sick macro lens, and then Seth broke up with her, and so my lens was gone too. I hope this helps.

That's the thing if you live near all the shops and restaurants you frequently you won't need a vehicle. Nothing virtue signals like zip lining to work.

Or the terrorists in most 3rd world countries. Toyotas appear to be a favorite of theirs. Might have something to do with reliability. The guys on Top Gear certainly put a Hilux through hell and the damned thing wouldn't die.

I don't really like the look of charging stations cluttering up parking lots, I don't have to look at a fuel pump everytime I get in my vehicle. One trend that has been going on for a while has been adding more landscaping to parking lots to filter out rain water run off. Which also made parking lots look much nicer. Here comes the EV age and parking and with that, lots are going to look like shit again with these chargers all over the place.

The argument here is that those ugly EV chargers are affecting the natural beauty of a lifeless black area covered in shopping carts and cars?

Oh the humanity. How will we ever survive without our urban beauty.

Early electric vehicles (common grade, not ultra-class) even needed redesigned wiper motors because they were louder than the main-motors.

I wouldn't want to look at those things at my apartment complex they're ugly. It's the equivalent of a fuel pump in a parking lot. Inside of a parking garage or on the roof which is what the one picture I think is showing, or at a gas station isn't bad. Why would you want to look at a charger that lights up? It's in bad taste to the aesthetics of a community. It's like building your house in a Costco parking lot.

Indeed, and it needed no replacement parts except for a windshield to still run.

    > Drove it down narrow stone stairs
    > Set it on fire
    > Drowned it so completely it was floating on the English Channel
    > Dropped it
    > Used a wrecking ball on it
    > Put it on top of a building about to be blown up

It still staggered into the studio under its own power.

You cannot even tow those easily as I recall. There is no such thing as "tow in neutral" without harming the wheel-motors.

Bro he wanted argue every point why property management companies wouldn't want to install charging stations at their complex. As if there is any reason they would want to.

They only install them because of whiney tenants who made the poor choice to operate an EV while living at an apartment complex.

I didn't even want to continue the conversation.

My rent increases should go to necessary (well, city hall and all that ...) property taxes and better maintenance response time. EV drivers can pay for their own charging stations ... as homeowners do. They are NOT morally superior because they drive plastic-filled vehicles powered by exotic rare-earth compounds that have been shipped 50k miles around the globe in diesel-powered ships.

Morally superior? Nope, but at least they used less of those materials.

You literally come here to troll the comments, this is exactly what you want.

You even argued that EV chargers affect the natural beauty of parking lots, and then used how ugly parking lots are IN your argument of how EV chargers ruin the beauty of parking lots.

Lets not pretend you are here for valid duscussion engaging in various aspects of the positives and negatives of EVs and their chargers.
