    Same. I was very excited when Toyota said the 4th gen OR would have a #1700. Still waiting for that, hence one of my major disappointments with it.

    I agree. It’s one of the “big ticket” items and it’s quite disappointing.

    You can have 1700# payload if you spend like 60-70k or whatever it’s gonna be on a hybrid. Or was it a trail hunter?

    I dunno. It seems to change everytime Toyota issues a press release. I'm assuming it will be the TH though. I've decided to wait until I see it before I believe just words, or a YT video.

    Unless you have exotic third party parts, your 3rd gen Tacoma is just like any other 3rd gen Tacoma.
