Your truck is incredible, nice work dude. I'm just getting started on my silver DC OR, bought it two weeks ago. I'd really like to get the Moto Metal 951 16x9s. I am not lifting my truck in the next year or so. In one of the pics when you still had the Moto Metals installed you mentioned the tires were BFG MT 265/75R16s. They look really good in that picture even with your 3" lift. Were those definitely 265s, and not 285s? And why did you replace the Moto Metals, just preference or were they giving you problems?

Any help you can provide would be much appreciated because your truck is the best example of some of the things I'd like to do based on what I've found in the past two weeks of searching.

    Thanks for the comments!

The tires are 265/75-16 BGF Mud Terrains. The MT tread makes them look a little bigger than other 265 tires.

The Moto Metals were fine but they did scratch pretty easily though.

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply. Then I'm going with the Moto Metals and BFG MTs

Very nice build & documentation! Ever since I sold my Tundra, I've missed having light in the bed. Your idea is great!

Hardwired my TOMTOM yesterday...I like the location but not the suction cup mount. I am going to figure out a way to mount it right above the rearview mirror and clip it into the headliner.

I have 2 snow trips coming up and a trip to the dunes so I thought I would mount a shovel into the bed. I used quick fists, they worked out great and are easily removable when not in use.

You can buy the Quick Fists at Cabela's.

Need a get a smaller shovel too....

Where did you tie into power? Splice the cable? I'd like to do this, and get rid of that annoying cable hanging from the rearview!

I got them thru the "slimcubby" group buy. You can get HIDs pm ebay or DDM Tuning for a comparable price.

I have never been "high-beam flashed" because I have them aimed properly...

How'd you color match your side view mirrors? Are those covers, did you buy the sport mirrors, or did you paint the stock mirrors?
