    Hey everyone.

Been lurking for the past few months..trying to decide if I wanted to part with my Audi A3....well, Toyota won and the Germans lost..again :D

Picked it up last week and finally got a break in the weather to take some pics.

I'm definitely replacing the tires with Revo 2's 265/70/17 as I've read pretty bad reviews of the stock Dueler H/T's.

I thought the next addition would be a set of ATX Mojave's, but after taking a look at my pics, I might have to throw on some 5100's first as the nose seems so low. I plan to tow a 4500lb travel trailer occasionally, think 5100's set to .85 is going to have me nose high while towing ? I'm in Canada, so it came with the TSB leafs stock.

Anyway, glad to be an owner now, instead of just a lurker !

Will do, didn't know about the forum. It'll be good to hit it up for some "local" info.

    Thanks

The Dueler H/T's aren't that bad, they're pretty decent when they're new. I've had mine for 25K miles so far. They are starting to get skinny/thin and that's more noticable in the wet/rain.

But seriously - if you don't have the coin to drop on new tires, just wait a bit. Put more money into other modifications first. And not to mention - don't jump into buying new tires too soon. Why? Because you'll wanna lift the truck and want bigger tires eventually anyway.

I hear ya and appreciate the advice, but besides the poor reviews they get, they look like car tires to me and I want my truck to look like a truck.

The Revo's get awesome reviews and even though we don't much snow where I live sometimes we get surprised, plus I'd like something surefooted for logging roads. By selling the H/T's while they're still almost new I'll hopefully get enough to get a set of 5100's installed up front to bring that nose up a bit.
