Well, I have been to many places in the U.S. I lived in CA for 20 years, moved to ND to play baseball (on a scholarship) and traveled to many states to play ball, got Tommy John surgery and then moved to WV to finish my last year of collegiate baseball and help take care of my PawPaw. In 2013 I bought my first Toyota/pickumup truck. It is a 2011 base model. The only thing I have done to it so far is put on BFG Rugged Terrain tires, paint the emblem on the grille, remove the dealership's tag from the tailgate, added intermittent windshield wipers, weathertech floor liners, and backed over a small curb in my driveway that ripped off my drivers side mudflap.

I have redline hood struts that still need to be installed, but I am a little hesitant to do this by myself. I love working on trucks (I worked on a '69 Ford Bronco for my senior project in high school), and making things out of leftover wood (chests, benches, shelves), but I do not trust myself in installing these hood struts. If something is bolt on with pre-drilled holes, then I am fine, but I don't want to drill into my hood and screw anything up, since this is my first "real" vehicle.

Anyone want to help for a reasonable price? Or should I just do it and not worry about messing it up:confused:

What exactly do you want to do to your truck I mean most modifications and armor is just bolt on so you should be good.

Just wanting to know if the hood struts are an easy enough project to tackle by myself, or if I should get some help with the install? I'm good at putting stuff together, but I just don't want to have unnecessary holes in my hood.
