I got my new relay/jumper in the mail and I plan on switching out the relays today so I have drl. For those of you who have done this, how long did it take you? Was it difficult? I know there is a good thread on here with directions...im going to refer to it.

For what it's worth, I ditched my DRL because it melted the amber lens. There was a recall also due to them burning up. Unless you're doing an aftermarket setup with LED's I'd look into it that beforehand

It is not bad skier. I did mine in the summer. I actually have mine modded a bit too. I have a switch to them and I put Jumpers LEDs in later.
I am from the wild west of ma too. If you are close enough and need a hand, PM me. Maybe we can connect. It really isn't that bad.

Yes I have read about the melting. I bought bulbs that are a step down from the factory ones. I know they still may melt over time. If they do, I have a 3 year warranty that covers everything, and i will complain! I am the second owner, so if they say well the truck wasnt factory equipt with drl, ill just say the other owner must have done it and I bought it from you like that so please fix it. Im not too worried about that!
