 be careful because all of our rejects are fleeing to Texas which will be a blue state within 10 years and then you will be dealing with the socialists. If you don't live in Texas that's fine they are also infiltrating Colorado....

Most new cars/trucks these days have a bunch of technology built it, they're like giant F'in computers. In all honesty I wish I have opted out of most of the technology I got with mine, aside from the back up camera. If I were you, since this is going to be a semi work truck and you don't want to pay for the tech stuff I'd get an SR Access cab since that will be the most nimble option with the long bed (which it sounds like you'll need) or like others have said if family and friend carrying capabilities are of concern SR DCLB. Only you can answer that question. Use the extra money to beef up suspension and tires. Also on a side note, I have used my Taco to haul 6ft-7ft long 8"-16" diameter rounders out of the woods before on a handful of occasions. Although it works the trucks capacity is small and I didn't feel entirely confident. That being said my suspension and tires are stock and I also have the short bed.

So buy a leftover 2017 like I did back in May. Or don’t buy a new truck. Or buy a ford or a gmc. Lots of options out there. It’s only as hard as you make it for yourself, and it’s just a truck.

Thanks i appreciate your input i guess tomorrow is the final day for this exercise if we can't come to an agreement i must move on. I'll be fine the Frontier always starts up it's ok maybe i can pick up a nice used tacoma one day without all the bs. I will have more time in August to look at a vehicle it's not a good time for me to be shopping one right now. I thought it could really help with this lot clearing contract but that's ok.

Moving back to CO soon myself. Cant wait. An access cab has been great so far, the 6ft bed is very useful. IF DCLB is an option, go for it.

I sat in the back of the Frontier the other day after a job and no way can a 5' bed suffice no way. I am buying a taco or Frontier and i want a change. Nothing against the Frontier but i need something a little more modern it will happen I understand the dealerships upselling but wtf they are losing final purchase 40k? brrbb that's fine i will stick with it hopefully this deal happens tomorrow.

As for California the gun laws are messed up here man a farmer in Bakersfield was charged with a dozen felony counts for trying to reg up his guns legally. I worked for Chevron in Bakersfield years ago the cops are very cool there so this is a statewide gestapo tactic. The Bakersfield police don't play games with bs they are used to handling drunk oil industry roughnecks not dealing with nancy pelosi garbage.

You want to elaborate, rather than just drop a turd and bounce? How is my personal opinion on access cab ownership B.S?

I love Regular Cabs you don't have to drive anyone and if you do its one person. You always can make other people drive and its so simplistic unless you have a ton of crap to haul around.

@ej_, have you considered a full size domestic 1/2 or 3/4 ton truck? The lower-optioned ones overlap in price with Tacomas, have way higher payload ratings, and their access cabs are bigger than Tacoma double-cabs.
