I wanted Cement (AKA Urban Grey). Couldnt find one anywhere near me used. Found a killer deal on my second fav color choice Quicksand (AKA Flat Dark Earth). There is a new favorite color Army Green (AKA Olive Drab Green).

Toyota was really smart to make colorways of their trucks match up with military camouflage colors used by our country lol Its the same with the Tundras too

All have premium leather...except the Quicksand.

Which is of it is the reasons I'll consider the Pro more serially. I like quicksand... But am hoping Army green is Pro will be my next vehicle

If they REALLY wanted to sell some trucks they get the whole Cabelas theme going. This guy is way ahead of Toyota on that.

I had a 16 quicksand that I traded for a 19 MGM. The quicksand was cool when I first got it cause no one had it. Everyone now has one. I live on Kodiak island off of Alaska. We have 5 on this island alone. After a while of owning one, the cool factor kinda wore off. One guy here has a Cavalry, it looks cool and a dude has a cement Pro here and that one is nice as well. I own a simple MGM and I like it and think it will age better.

The dealer knew about as much as we know here so they did not know if leather or even the colour is available on a 2020 OR. So I put a deposit down based on my wishes and availability. The price is also not final yet because they don't know the MRSP. We calculated based on a 2019 but we presume that the 2020 is (slightly) more expensive. So the final amount is still unknown. I will be paying cash for the vehicle. Also, I'm Canadian so pricing is probably different than in your state.
As soon as they allocate the vehicle they will be contacting me so that I can tweak the order if needed. I presume QS is still available, it's a popular colour (but not in my area). So far leather has not been an option on a Off Road in Canada. Only on a Pro and as a package on a TRD Sport. I am hoping Toyota Canada will make it available or at least update the grey cloth to something better. Which is very well possible because the seats themselves are different and are now powered.

lol, no the BRZ is not in the picture you quoted.
I ended up selling both the FJ Cruiser and the FJ40. I choose quicksand as a 'tip of the hat' to the FJ40.

So this is my current fleet until the Taco arrives:

I too did what the OP did: test drove TRD Pro and TRD Off-Road.

I decided on the Off-Road for several reasons: could not stomach Pro’s even poorer fuel economy numbers; didn’t want to deal with dealers’ bratty “oh, this is the only one” attitude. As much as I like TRD badges I found the TRD Pro embroidered on the headrests too tacky (that’s possibly the tackiest place Toyota could have found). Also, my dad struggled getting in and out of my lifted Rubicon and Pro’s higher suspension wasn’t going to help. And there’s the higher price, of course.

Off-Road gave me greater choices in colors and availability, greater ability to negotiate; a more accessible entry/exit; and didn’t need to look at those TRD logos on the headrests. I didn’t care for the base cloth either, so I went with the Premium and Technology Packages.

The colors that got my attention were Quicksand, Cavalry and Cement. But I couldn’t get Quicksand with Premium Package (why, Toyota...?!?). Then I saw the Orange inserts and really wanted that, and the only way to get an Off-Road with Premium Package and the Orange inserts was in Super White. So that’s what I got.

    No regrets.

My truck is Silver Sky. It’s only camo when it’s in mid-flight against a cloudy sky, which mine is all the time. Best jumping truck I’ve ever owned.

I wound up with quicksand because it had the black and orange cloth interior I wanted. It's an absolute nightmare to keep that cloth clean with its micro-mesh it turns out. Quicksand has grown on me though, helped by the black accents of the off-road model

I'm also one that HATES embroidered headrests when I found out with a previous car and a new set of Katskinz, after a month I kept kicking myself for doing that . It can make the interior almost cartoonish.
