I AM SO EXCITED. I have been searching around on this forum all through out high school. Now i am in college and my parents are getting me a new truck as a graduation/birthday present!!!! but, i have no idea of what kind of tacoma i really want. long bed or short bed? black white or speedway blue? I'm planning to put a 6" lift with 35s on it. IMHO i think short bed look kind of off with a 6" lift. its not so much the long or short bed thing, its more of the color. I'm lost smh.

Congrats! What ever you end up getting, I'm sure you'll love it! I think the gernerel consensus here would be crew cab, short bed, 4x4 with a 6 speed!

someone help me. i like the black because it seems more like me, but then again you see a lot of people with black lifted trucks; regardless of what type of truck it is. the color white looks super clean, but then again there are a lot of white lifted diesels around where i live. Speedway blue just looks sick, but I'm not sure if i would look good in a bright blue truck, and theres not many trucks that are blue lifted. i was suppose to get a new truck months ago, but i seriously have not F@CKING decided on a color yet.....

i would get a six, but theres really no point. i live in wichita ks and i don't get much off roading action. its mostly just driving 35 mins across town for class a few times a week. so i think I'm going to stick with an auto

whatever it is you get, make sure you love it to death.. :D

also try to think of what you're going to use the truck for.. like hauling kids or hauling lumber. etc

I had an 06 speedway blue access cab sport.. loved it. Shows scratches and chips a bit, but Its a truck. Have my 09 super white double cab short bed off road now. Love it even more! Something about the white and black just looks clean. Doesn't matter if other people have the same color truck.. if t makes you happy.. go for it. I definitely prefer my white one over the swb.

Hey Bud, I live in Ponca City OK. just 45 min south of you. GO WITH A WHITE TACOMA, short bed TRD Sport. I'll make your choice easy, I have a black TRD sport short bed and wish I had the F'n white and it would be a perfect truck. Black is tight, but way hard to keep clean. White is a clean looking truck for the Tacomas, and anything Mod wise looks good on them. A lot of guys on here whith white color have the most abd ass looking trucks IMO....
