Finally got a chance to see & drive both a TRD Sport LB & AC Off Road. Both automatics & 4x4. My background is two 2GENs (2006 & 2013), two Tundras (2011 & 2004), a couple of previous no name Toyota pickups (V6 slow & a 22RTE).
Initial impression is the inside is comfortable, all controls nicely laid out & updated. I paid attention to the seat, headroom, hood line of sight. I did not have any problems with any of it. I'm 5'5" on a good day. :)
The engine was as others have noted but not extreme. It had plenty of get up & go especially with that ect button. My biggest noteworthy feeling was No Vibes! I didn't feel the pedal vibration as mentioned by some? It was only a test drives.
I really liked the fit & finish. Yeah there is always room for improvement but hey getting back into my 2013 it felt like a time warp.
Anyways congrats to all those 3Gen owners. I really now want a Super White LB 4x4 and to test drive a MT. AC or DC and trans choice is my only question mark. As far as the frame it will be oiled undercoated from day one. The wait & decision making begins...
Sorry no pics raining cats & dogs & people were lining up to buy these trucks! Almost all incoming allocations sold here in Vermont.

    Hahaha
    Simon hopefully approves.
Not pitch a fit like he did in the Tundra.
Oh yeah that GoPro mount . .didn't think about that. It's in my snowmobile gear bag for the snow trips that was a great deal & got lots of use. Can't say I would use that in my truck at all.
    Gotta count my pennies.
My 13 is paid for & will wait till more stock appears. That will be probably next model year where I live. Not much stock at all. :(
