    If you're claustrophobic you would get freaked out about it. But I would almost guarantee there aren't any claustrophobic people working as miners. I think those guys are more concerned about getting the F*ck out, and if they can fit into it, and seeing their families.

    just training in confined spaces for firefighting sucked enough. I about died and I am not normally that bad... but doing that for half a mile would suck

    They still do unless your really bad off then most places have open MRI machines. I get an MRI for my head every few years and almost all of my body goes in. I usually just close my eyes and fall asleep.
