Not looking for a X-brace anymore❗️ As the OP stated it does NOTHING but look cool‼️

I'm not paying $160 for something that "Does Nothing" Per the OP!

I wasn't going to pay more than $60 including shipping for it and I'm damn glad the OP demanded $160 plus shipping (at the time) from me. The gentleman who sold the brace to the OP asked $25 for the brace.

A limited production trim, the Toyota X-Runner was only available in three colors each year and only four colors today. The X-Runner was available in Speedway Blue, Black San Pearl and Radiant Red from 2005 until 2008.The Radiant Red was discontinued in 2009 and replaced with Barcelona Red Metallic. The main difference between the X-Runner and other packages were the updates to the suspension, a 3.15 Final Drive ratio and ground effects. To stiffen up the back end, the Toyota added a rear mounted X-Brace. The chassis was also stiffened more by adding two additional support braces to the frame. One could purchase an optional big brake kit by TRD available on the X-Runner which consisted of a 332 mm slotted rotor and 4 piston caliper. This big brake kit was designed by Shttps://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z7850/toyota-tacoma-x-runner.aspxtopTech.

Tacoma X-Runner’s superior road manners are managed by its X-Brace reinforced frame, and a lowered, sport-tuned suspension system that delivers responsive feedback and firm handling. The independent double-wishbone front suspension and leaf spring rear suspension are further enhanced by front and rear stabilizer bars and Bilstein shocks. Tacoma X-Runner rides on P255/45R18 performance summer radials with exclusive 18” alloy wheels. The drive train configuration transfers all power to the rear wheels, and is enhanced with a limited-slip differential.

From articles seems like it does something. :notsure:

You yourself said its cosmetic only .then you say it may stiffens rear frame and spring mounts . It does something . Not saying it's good for racing .
Other op trying to sell something and you bashing him .
Lot of taxes I pay don't do anything for me but that's the way it is.
    Over and out.

I really wish Toyota would get with the times and stop using wheels. They were on the model T therefore they are outdated technology. Get with the program, Toyota!

The original colors were available until 2011. Then it was still only three offerings through 2015. Also, all are 6-speed only, unique ground effects and the TRD supercharger was an option along with the big brakes. Motor Trend track tested the new X for ‘05 and pulled .91g on the skid pad, better than the Nissan 350Z. Guess that x brace is more than cosmetic!

Thicker sway bars front and rear. Stiffer springs on your coilovers and maybe an aal for the rear
