    I have back trouble and the seat in the bottom rear Angles back down towards the floor so long trips haven't been good, so now level is much better for me on long drives

    I would say anything that changes the dynamics of a vehicle could come into play in court. Any time you change the characteristics and expected behaviour of a vehicle COULD be perceived to be a contributing factor to an accident.

    did you just put spacers on the rear part of the mounting brackets? how thick of spacers?

    Yes the rear brackets, I first tried a one inch spacer then ended up with 2 inch spacer leveled the Seat much better on my back..

    You are a brave soul.. I'd rather have an upholstry shop pad it, as another member suggested to you in your original post regarding the low seats. It's your truck.
