6ft with long legs. Seats are perfect to me
My problem is the miniscule amount of telescoping you get from the wheel

What is it with truck people trying to "level" things?

Not true. ARB stand behind their bumpers as fully airbag compliant.

Lifts I wouldn't fully say either. After all they'll all be engineered to spec and have testing done.

All will have an engineer sign off on it which is all that matters.
When you do things like this with no engineer to sign off its where it gets complicated.

Most Truck seats are level, kinda like sitting on a big couch, these seats are more compact car like..

Wasn't trying to piss in anyone's cornflakes over the mods they choose. Just trying to point out some considerations and risk assessment that we might want to take when deciding on what to implement. It's OK to take some risks, we all do, but at least we can go in eyes wide open and with consideration to what the implications of those risks might be.

Even with washers spacing te seat up a bit it will not be a weak link in the design. There are gears in the back that adjust and in the bottom that go from to back that will sheer before the bolts. If the driver is belted in it will hold the driver and seat in place as the belt is not attached to the seat.

On the topic I know years ago when I had a track car that was insured for road use too I asked about me having a quick connect steering wheel and no air bag. I was told by the insurer that even on roads if I was in an accident and they could point to my injury being from lack of air bag they would not pay for my medical bills or loss wages being off work etc.

So it's definitely something to consider.

The soon to be widow grasped his hand tightly as machines beeped loudly. Sobbing, with tears streaming down her face, she buried her head into his chest one last time. All the while, the hiss of the life support machine overpowered his heart beat.

She heard a knock on the door. It was the life insurance agent.

"Mam, I'm sorry, his five hundred thousand policy is waved. Your husband modified his chair.."

The sound of the life insurance agents voice began to drown out. It was merely a garbled mess now. With fire in her eyes, the woman dashed over to her husbands bedside. One last kiss, as she pulled the machines plug from the wall. The sound of a solid beep filled the room.

Never claimed to be just excel in common sense. I do however see horrific wrecks on a regular basis and kind of have an idea of how things work out. All I'm saying is if that was the only thing making my truck uncomfortable to drive I would do the mod and never look back or second guess it.
