Jivewalker, when you say "Chucktown," do you refer to the one and only?

Also, my GPS (Garmin) makes me agree not to touch it whilst driving but does still operate. I have to lie to it.

BL is the 'beating the heat' beerski. Otherwise it's Boddington's or Tetley's, but those too often and I'd be a big, fat focker!

Mmmmm... Killian's... I haven't had that in ferever! Might just have to sniff some out next time I'm in town!

I agree fully with you OP.

Best way around this, get after market and do the e-brake hack to it. Then you can watch DVD's, do Navigation, anything while in motion.

My wife's Jeep is the same way. The plus side to it is it is American-made which means it is easy to manipulate because, well, Unions only look forward to getting compensation for nothing or getting off of work early.

I can't remember the exact way of doing it, but instead of following the directions of typing in addresses etc, I just go to points of interest and select a location near where I am going or the actual location I am going if it is, in fact, a point of interest.

...Something like that. I need to actually have the console in front of me to figure it out.

Edited because I did not realize the Thread was hijacked with beer pictures....so, here...

And all this time I thought it was only me lying to it ... ... now, back to the 1st post ... the nav system does not allow you to make any input/adjustmens to it while driving? ... I didn't know that.

My wife's Accord works while driving. She uses it while I drive quite often. Which is good because that system is a pita. Hers does do voice command but I don't know if that works for the navi though. Hmmm. Haven't even thought about it since she always navigates.
