Don't look at the price of TRD Pro Headlights if you think the Tails are expensive...

People can just go buy reps for a couple hundred and they are identical, doesn't mean someone wont come along and buy yours though. I low ball people all the time lmao and sometimes they bite cause they just want stuff gone. I wouldn't lower your price if your already below retail.

This has nothing to do with what I consider expensive, and everything to do simple economics.
If you can buy an EQUIVALENT (though not identical) product for 1/3 the price, why would you spend the extra?

Yea, I don’t know how much more desirable the pro taillights are. The headlights get about double the regular trd lights, but people are more interested in blacking out the headlights or retrofitting them. I don’t see a big demand for tail lights so I’d think it would be similar to the 125-150 I’ve seen the standard trd ones go for.

This is because lots of people who sell here change the title of their forsale threads to "delete please" and removes all info from the first post. Its very annoying because.....
1: just putting delete in the title doesnt delete the thread.
2: when people like you want to find the going price they cant because people removed their sale prices.
3: when buyers are looking for what they should be paying they cant do that either

Ive commented about it before in forsale threads, but people seem to think that others should just know how much the going rate is for something.

These look way better then the Factory installed OFF road and sr5 light. There is a difference in look. I did infact sell them for 250.00 so Thanks for the input. I was more or less saying...What should the price be and fair. I don't rip people off. I try to make it fair for both parties. If you want the trd pro look this is the light Toyota uses in that truck option.

Exactly. It is at the very least a helpful gauge. End of the day I don't want to be looked at like a insane idiot. hahaha Anymore then my wife already thinks I am as she can't park in the garage because the side by side is in her spot. She just doesn't get it... If your cold they are too.....lol

So...for anyone wanting to sell PRO Series tail lamps. OEM. 200 to 275 is a good asking price!

If you have a price agreed to by a willing buyer and a willing seller, where both have full understanding of the item being transferred, then what you have is an example of a healthy free market economy, not a rip-off.

I don't recall seeing any aftermarket light that was equivalent to the 'Pro's as they are different and better looking than the standard tails. I paid around $250 for them a few years ago which i thought was a fair price.

Does the brake light not go on when you press the brake?
Does the backup light not go on when you put the transmission in reverse?
Does the tail light not go on when you put the headlights on?

EQUIVALENT means that it does its job the same. That job is to alert the vehicles behind you to what you are doing. The vehicle behind you isn't going to crash into you just because they think your tail light is ugly.

So this is a thread about people lowballing? Welcome to the shitty side of the used parts market. On mass produced products especially it is definitely a buyer's market.

I like my chrome, I actually wish the front bumper had matching chrome with my rear bumper. Just seems half assed that the front bumper is painted, but the rear is either chrome or painted... like a parts bin truck.
