Printout would work, then there is no guessing.

I had a local alignment shop fix me up after I installed my suspension. Using SPC adjustable UCAs they managed to get 3 degrees of caster. When they gave me the print out and told me it was maxed but that I was rubbing badly I asked if they could try for more because I knew they could go well past 4. They told me it was maxed and sent me on my way. The sound was horrible. Never again to that shop.

That afternoon I set an appointment with a shop across town that specializes in lifted trucks and advertise SPC products. I shouldn't have been lazy and just driven across town the first time. Under an hour and 4.3 degrees of caster. I can't make it rub no matter how I try.

This isn't to say that my setup will work for you. It is intended to emphasize the importance of alignment and the tech doing the work. Also, small number difference can be huge experience difference (1.3 degrees added changed everything).

I will do everything in my power tomorrow during the daylight to take a picture of that spot like the one above and post it here. My last alignment done at Toyota they don’t have any numbers for it. I already asked. I suppose if I had to I could go back there and ask them to tell me what the caster is. I really appreciate your help on all this by the way

    Yessir!

It’s certainly preferable to running 80lb 315s on some ugly ass wheels so you can easily spot your truck in the Whole Foods parking lot, but I digress I’m just some salty internet loser.

This thread is just filled with so much ignorance and misinformation.

I hope everyone gets their trucks dialed in how they want them and everyone is safe about it.

When I dove into this thread, I read the first couple of posts and asked myself, “how the hell is this thing 13 pages?”. Well now I know and I wish I didn’t.

I would not go to Toyota. As others have said, go to an allignment shop that works on lifted trucks. Ask to get as much caster as possible while trying to keep your toe and camber in spec, and they'll give you a print out. Once you know you have pushed your wheel forward to the extent you can, if still rubbing, you can cut more to the rear of your tires.

Not sure why you’re commenting here then. Perhaps you should go help someone somewhere else on another thread.

Yes it’s too bad guys like you weren’t on the threads I came here in the beginning and created begging people to tell me what wheels and tires worked on these trucks. All I got were answers kind a like post 239 on this thread. Honestly it drove me away from this forum for a while.

You’re absolutely useless on this forum. Why don’t you go somewhere else and be unhelpful? If you read this thread no definitive answers have been given. That’s a fact. Opinions have been varied and then all over the place. Not only of you not giving any answers you’ve just been negative. Flyway little bird.

I suspect you’re going for the least helpful forum member award.

Just out of curiosity why are you even on this forum? Just to give other members crap? Do you get some sort of enjoyment from putting other people down?
