I think it comes down to the person behind the wheel. I see some people posting stuff of themselves wrenching away at their trucks and I like those people. Then I see the ones where it's nothing but brand promotion and all of a sudden their staco is fully built.

Y’know, that’s not necessarily true. I really don’t want my truck wallowing and top-heavy, bloated with armour n’ gear, and struggling to keep speed or come to a stop, laden with crap I have to worry about getting stolen if I decide I might want to use the truck around town. I’m more of a minimalist, but will admit to having a Meso coin holder and Hondo radio knobs to help make my travels more comfortable.

But that’s just me. I am all for everyone following their own path in life.

Or when you've been hammering beer and brisket for the last 48 hrs, still have 48 to go, and "just need to mix it up".

Not proud of it. But got me back on the beer track in no time. After I discovered a few more cavities.

Overlanding to some people on these forums and social media is building a badass rig and showing up to parking lot meets or posing for photos that make them look like they are hardcore...

Wait a sec, what exactly is wrong with raw chicken breast? Are you a chicken snob? Raw pork chops suit you better? I'm having difficulty understanding the chicken hate.

They were surrounded by virgin snow, that is the definition of proper sanitation. I'd slap a half-breast on anything metal in that situation, crisp it up and enjoy it mightily.
