Still seems lacking in many ways. I looked at one(pre 21) and when I saw the rear seat I walked away. Great idea, but just looked wrong.

why make a truck that is not really a truck?

Groovy! Not digging the giant fender flares but maybe they look better in person.

the only reason I wouldn’t trade up for one early is the $$$$$$$. They don’t do a base trim anymore without it being loaded with tech and shenanigans. If they did, I’d be interested.

hauls as much as a Tacoma. Tows enough to be competitive. Smoother ride, more comfort, etc etc. it’s just the giant price tag, for me.

I can understand the market they're trying to reach: people who want some of the capability with the drive-ability of a car. makes sense, just never liked the looks. Would work really well in suburbs and around town for those who only occasionally need to haul stuff.

It would exceed expectations for around 90% of folks who buy 3rd gens. Nice ride, good MPG, lots of do-dads, and the frame will never rust out. :D

There's some impressive engineering in those Ridgelines. I like the new front end better than the Pilot front end - now it looks more like it's own thing than a Pilot with the back chopped off.

Perfect for those people who'd like a pickup bed and don't need to put up the macho-macho man act.

Yes I agree, just wonder if they would have reached a wider audience with a solid rear axle? Of course that would add to their costs ruin their design. But it might have attracted more “truck” buyers.

it also works good for DJ’s and as a light duty service truck.

Possibly, but then again if they went with one they'd have to compete in all other aspects with the rest of the market, not just comfort, mgps and the cool gadgets/storage it has
