I'm stupid. Need leaf spring 2nd gen help...

    He's right. Pull it all apart and re-install after you inspect everything.

    I'll throw myself under the bus here in hopes that my mistake might help you. When I installed my AAL, I removed the overload as directed. I was doing the install too late one night and in a cramped garage. I put everything together and got it aligned the next morning. Went back home and was admiring my work when I noticed one side looked a little higher than the other. Broke out the tape measure and confirmed, PS was about 1" higher than DS. Looked around and finally discovered PS center pin was about .75" in front of the perch's pin hole. How I tightened this down without noticing this error was beyond me. Too tired and didn't take my time I'm sure. I know it seems silly, but give it a look and make sure both of your pins are 100% seated. Once I fixed my boneheaded mistake (and triple checked everything else) I found my alignment was now way off. It had been set up with the crabbed rear axle from before. New alignment for proper rear axle configuration and good to go. Lots learned from this experience.

    I just checked my Axle/leaf pack. And Mine is the exact same. If I measure from the Center of the Front Bolt (were the leaf pack bolts to the front mount on the frame) to the spring perch on the axle. Passenger side is a exactly 1/4" foward. Passenge side measures 25 3/4".. Drivers side is 26".
    Its probably normal for the new models, and a New allignment will make everything good.

    Not sure I'm on board with the idea of getting the front end aligned with the rear yet...

    It's raining like crazy today, whenever it clears up ill take some measurements and loosen up the u-bolts to make sure everything is setup right.

    Also I had those Toytec 2.5 degree shims in before and removed those. Wonder if that affected anything.

    Just to clarify...

    At any rate you need to figure out why that leaf pack or those leaf packs are doing that.

    Shims shouldn't change anything but pinion angle.

    Theres something off about those leaves. Theres some stock packs sitting at Erics shop I'll measure for you tomorrow if I can. Shouldn't be a difference in sides, the springs should be the same length and the center pin hole in the same location on either side.

    Seems odd but sounds like you're definitely dog tracking and axle is definitely crooked.

    Mine is the exact same and mine drives just fine..
    We need someone with a pre 2012 with the progressive aal to measure were there axle sits. If its the same as ours then it should just be the way they are.
