Hello everyone! I just joined the site and hope to learn a lot from it. I just purchased a new 2013 Tacoma TRD Off Road yesterday and I'm picking it up after work today. I'm new to the Tacomas, but not to Toyotas. I traded in my 2002 Tundra TRD access cab which I've had for about 4yrs. I loved the truck, but have no need for a full size and a V8. Also, Tacomas are just badass rides! Anyways, I'll be sure to post a few pics after I pick it up tonight.

    Cheers!
    Matt

Pic, as promised. Can't seem to upload multiple attachments from my iPhone. I will when I get to my computer.

Here's another shot. I just removed the factory nerf bars and mud flaps. Definitely looks taller now.

Sexiest color they offer. Welcome to the site and rethink your mudflaps being off the truck. You will kick up small rocks and kill that fresh paint. You could always trim your mudflaps so they don't hang as low.

Thanks Justin. I know what you mean with the small chips. I had the same problem on my 08 STi until I put on Rally Armor mud flaps. I'll put them back on before the snow hits, but they look terrible IMO. I'll definitely be doing some trimming!

There's some threads on here about trimming - easiest with a dremel from my experience. I took mine above the 4x4 on the back.

Welcome to TW! Yeah I didn't care for the look of the mud flaps either when I first got my Taco. I kept mine on cause of the possible nicks to the paint and now I don't even notice em.

Ordered a Truxedo LoPro QT on Friday. Should be here this Thursday. Should keep out the rain and snow pretty well, from what I hear.
