oct 2024, i whispered a goal to myself.

"get down to 185lbs. you have to do this" i did it. i hit that about 2 weeks ago. jogging and eating correctly. (my doctors orders were to get to 195)

the reality of it all hit when i found myself buying new pants. i dropped 4 inches in pant size!! out of habit i was still reaching for my old sizes, because that is what i knew for so long.

waiting for the REI sale to start this Thursday to buy yet another pair. DUER pants are dope!!

i feel so much better overall. better skin, better Gut, better sleep, better body function numbers...

thanks to this forum...i would peek in frequently.

    GREAT JOB !!!

    2009 I was 5'9" and 213 lbs.
Mid-2015 was the year for me.

My goal was 165 in 16'.
    Got it by mid-2016

    Currently at about 140 lbs.

There have been a few draw back to loosing all that weight.
I now seem to get volunteered to go up the ladders and under the houses more......
Stuff that bigger people can't/don't want to do.
But that's a small trade off for the benefit of my future health.

I went to a work meeting. saw people I havent seen for awhile.

the scuttlebutt at the meeting was:
    1. I now have cancer
    2. I am injecting diet drugs.

hahahhahahha... I'll take both as a compliment.

    update.

my doctor is fairly conservative. she didnt want to take me off my BP med, but she did cut the dose in half to the lowest level people prescribe it at.

next step is to get off them completely. weaning me off.

i have no bad cholesterol to moan about and i am nowhere near the ballpark of even being pre-diabetic. HELLS YES!
