I'm thinking 2nd & 3rd Gen Tacomas are about to go way up in value!

Plain and simple, the rep is wrong. New motors are turbo-gas and turbo-hybrid. There is no EV Tacoma from Toyota.

Not so sure of that, used vehicles costing more than new ones wasn't a thing until around COVID times. I remember the 3rd gen release and values of the prior gens stayed exactly the same, as they will again. o_O

Yah, same here I bought my 2023 Dec 29th to get one of the last ones before I got stuck with a 2024. The more I look at it, the more sure I become convinced there will be a 2016-2023 front cap kit to upgrade to new body style pretty soon. Just change the rear fender flares, pretty much same truck

I've had a solution for this for decades, that is for some reason being ignored.
Ever see the movie 'Soylent Green'? Remember the people scoopers?
Problem solved. And this has many other uses other than removing protesters.

If worried about climate change, why put all the chips (gamble) on tech that relies on weather, as unpredictable as it is? BTW, NONE of the folks worried about the environment are living in caves and getting bone awl/stone hammer dentistry I'd dare say

Yep, think a better, more environmentally solution would be to install panels on existing structures, instead of bulldozing even more land flat that is only good for one thing only.

OHVs have been kicked out of areas over desert tortoises. How is this any better?

    Speaking of weather.

If they were truly concerned about saving the planet, they would quit buying shit. However they are trying to convince us that an insatiable appetite for consumer goods is the answer. Not sure how the never ending extraction of resources and manufacturing is a good thing for the planet. What ever happened to Reduce-Reuse-Recycle?

I hate these right wing memes. I live in oil country and can say the wind farms are far nicer than this.

I am absolutely nothing politically, not sure where you’re getting right wing??? Sounds like you’re the one trying to make it political. Asking honest questions, how is the extraction of resources and bulldozing large swaths of land for renewables for EVs any different? Feel like we are going full steam ahead without thinking of future consequences.

Unlike ranchers leasing the land, where everyone from all walks of life shares. When energy companies do it they close it off to the public for use. That isn’t good no matter which side of the political spectrum you are on.

Can’t we do better? Bit of a nature boy myself, going from exploiting petroleum to exploiting minerals even more so isn’t a good thing for our species or the planet as a whole.

Glad I'm an old dude with all the craziness (pick a subject) Enjoying my 2013 SR5 4.0 , couldn't locate a 2015 until (of course) after I bought mine with 85k ! Great Grandson may get this one if it's not grabbed by a vulture first. :fingerscrossed:

It used to be when you bought a Toyota, you kept it forever and didn’t care much about resale value.
