I had to modify my seats for comfort after a couple months of commuting.

It's just not the kind of thing you discover on a test drive.

In the old days you used to be able to buy recaro aftermarket seats. In the airbag era - it's harder to get better replacement aftermarket seats.

I think you're going to have to find a good upholstery shop that's basically willing to completely reconstruct the seats. The downside to this is - you may lose the airbags built into the seats. And with the airbag light on - who can say whether the computer will attempt to fire the other airbags at all in event of a collision?

On the other hand - I used to drive in cars that never had any airbags at all.

Only you can say if that's a fair tradeoff.

This site is very rude and I am offended. I'm off to join the civil internet where no one posts stupid things and one is mean and no one want to have fun, and we all play the grand piano while sipping tea from fine bone china teacups and everyone gets a reacharound.

    Good day, sirs.

No, I secretly wish to keep being offended. It's my thing.

    I've been very naughty.

But didn't you bang your head the first time you got in on the test drive? Seems like being too tall for a vehicle would influence a purchase decision.
