Well, after five years of loyal service, I'm trading in the Tacoma. Tuesday I pick up a 2017 Toyota 86 in Raven black. A little back story to ease the scratching heads.

Three months ago I sold my wife's 2008 Dodge Nitro (we got it for free basically) and we bought her a 2016 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro. Fast forward to now and she doesn't like it. She says its too big on the inside and she can't comfortably sit in it. So our option was trade in the brand new 4Runner, or my five year old Tacoma. Unfortunately the Tacoma lost out, and I'll be getting the 4Runner, and the wife will be driving the 86. I guess I could be getting a worse vehicle haha.

TacomaWorld is my home, so I will not be going anywhere, just spending a few more minutes a day on 4Runners.com, so no Oz, no need to say "bye".

A picture of my dear old friend next to my new ride. Pics of the wife's 86 to follow.

That's the one, its pretty much a Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ with an updated front end, headlights, tail lights, and a few other minor changes. It gets a whopping 5 extra horsepower over the outgoing model.

    I'll bet the 86 doesn't have a f'in Atkinson cycle POS.

I wouldn't call that unfortunate. I loved my 2006 4Runner SR5, I can only image the 2016 TRD Pro is an absolute beast. Congrats!

Its bittersweet. My Tacoma was my first new vehicle. I'll always miss it. On the plus side for ya'll, I'll soon have some wet okoles and other goodies for sale.

Here she is. Decided to get the BRZ instead, much nicer interior.
