    They are perfect for occasional at home use. If you only need it once or twice a year no reason to spend 500 bucks on it.

    The high-torque is a beast, and I love mine, but it's overkill for a lot of work, and gets really heavy after a while. The compact is perfect for 95% of DIY, and if that doesn't bust your lug-nuts, you have a problem!
