In 20 years, will our 3rd gens be as beloved as 1st gens are today?

when I bought my Tacoma and it was completely stock I was getting about 380 on a full tank

 

I did push it one night and I took a 2 gallon tank of gas with meat and I got 387 on one tank of gas and then it run out of gas

 

What the hell....the most I’ve ever seen mine was like 305... last 5 fill ups it stays at 285...how is that even possible!?

 

Tire pressure in tires have a lot to do with it

 

You got to get them Michelin defenders

 

Just stay away from Acme Products and cliffs in the Monument Valley.

 

Why can't fruit be compared?

 

I think the reason you see more second gens out on the road it's because they're old enough to be priced where anybody can afford one the reason I wouldn't buy 3rd gen is cuz I'm not going to pay over 30 grand for just a pickup truck and fifty grand for 4 by 4 pickup truck

 

And a lot of 5.56 spent...

 

My grandpa said he’d never pay more than a quarter for a cup of coffee. That’s was the last damn cup of coffee he ever had. Never had one since.

 

I don't see more 2nd gens at all. In fact, the amount I see has plummeted, in favor of 3rd gens. I still see them, but the numbers don't compare to the sea of 3rd gens. I'd say I even see more 1st gens than 2nd gens at this juncture.

 

Yeah I have a full warranty on my taco and when I go in for oil changes I go and look at all the new stuff and the prices are ridiculous 59,000 for a brand new 4Runner 60 thousand for brand new tundra

 

I mean base model stuff runs for 35k

 

You never saw the 2nd gens anyways. Their old-man styling made them nearly invisible. It’s like a factory cloaking device that is powered by boredom.

 

Well from 05 to 15there was a bunch of boring vehicles Ford took all the hype on that new mustang came out in 05

 

Everybody was waiting for this new mustang and to come out that was retro designed and then everybody else followed Chevy made the Camaro Dodge came out there Challenger

 

I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed.

 

No I agree Toyota has been making boring vehicles for the last 15 years

 

It's not about being cool it's about selling numbers

 

3G Tacos look cool.....that’s the primary reason they sell.
