In Bed Power

I have no idea what the actual specs on the motor are, I believe it’s a 3/4 hp, but I don’t remember beyond that. It takes a bit to spool up, and I can’t grind super hard on shoes, but it’ll work for most general use of a power outlet is unavailable.

Just thought I’d kick it out there since I’ve seen it discussed lately and had been curious if it’d do it or not.

Obviously, it'll spin the motor. Then the question becomes how much can you work it before you start popping the breaker?
Is there a plate on the motor identifying the amps/wattage? You've only got 400 watts available (400/110 = ~3.6 amps).
While the power outlet is a neat feature, its capacity is rather limited.

 

yeah that sheet fell off a long time ago. Just by the lag in it, it’ll only potentially do light work.
