I’m trying to find a truck box that rests below the bed rails of my 97 Tacoma (factory plastic bed liner). This is because I have racks that need to be clamped to the bed rails. The dimensions of the space is 53” (l) x 12” (d) x 15” (h).

    Welcome to the Forum!

It is always good to know where you live.

What material do you want your box to be?? Help narrow things Down Plastic , Steel, stainless, or aluminum.

Are you looking for brand new or used?? Willing to spend the money for a custom built box since most are made to sit above the bed rails??

Thanks for the welcome! I’ve changed my profile to make my place in the world known. The material of the box would preferably steel or aluminum. I would be willing to get either a new or used box, but probably not custom (don’t want to “break the bank” on the work truck…).
