So if you opt out of the driving score in the app, will that stop insurance companies from seeing how you drive?

Lol it's not the truck... or Toyota... it's society nowadays. Unless you fully go off grid and drive a 1950's vehicle with a carb and points, (no solid state ignition!) You are at the mercy of big data. Either embrace the suck or go live in a cave and grow your own food and barter for stuff.
To those noobs... An EMP would fry a solid state ignition.

All of us in the military wish that what you said was even remotely correct. Some of our "high tech" shit was outdated in the civilian world 40 years ago.

    "Military grade"
Until they learned that just means "cheap and bulk". Now it's a marketing gimmick. "Tactical".
And usually, "military grade" is synonymous with "imported".

Custom, only one ever designed and built interiors, heavily welded frame, all sharp metal turned bed rack and a roof top I made for $75. Power pedal, injen intake system, cat delete, summit racing brake proportioning valve controlled on the fly, slightly adjusted or perhaps unrecognizable ECM, built in under bed storage, high clearance rear built with 1/4" on a 6011 1/8" rod at 120 amps, 360 degrees of led light, a PA and CB, on board air, on board propane (to cook food), on board fridge made from an old red bull fridge found on some guys man cave built into the storage cubby under the back seat, imported tranny and clutch from a good friend over in Europe to replace this aisin junk we get, combined 32 gallons fuel capacity, 18 5 gallons of water storage, built in gun locker under RTT, and all it cost was to hear the wife ramble on about upset neighbors at 2 in the morning every night since I bought that damn truck..
Yes, but that would be illegal. I have 2 jammer. If there's a law (federal) I'll break it if it's unconstitutional, immoral, absurd or just plain stupid. If the govt can have all the tech then why can't we?

I retract my statement slightly.. the boys in the chair force operating drones in some far land or the targeting acquisition systems on satellite based weapons level of military grade. You're right, seabags and 5 tons are a little out of style. Need to upgrade

Hah! Chair Force. Can’t say I’ve heard that one before. But it’s been 3+ decades now.

And since we’re in an open topic thread… AR15’s are still military grade, and that’s good enough for me on that topic.
