You can say the same about the channels inside the door as well. But honestly, I've AVS in channel for almost 2 years now and not a single issue, tinted windows and all. Love em!

I think the lower profile ones look way better. If the matte black scratches try lightly going over them with a torch. Usually helps but don't over do it

whoring this picture but I have the low-profile in channel ones from AVS and they're great. No scratches and they've been to the beach and dusty areas.

I bought weathertech in-channel's and was not impressed with how they fit in the tacoma. They pressed hard on the weatherstrip and caused it to bulge in areas. Had to grind some of the plastic to make them fit nice. If I had to do it again I'd buy the AVS in-channel ones. Never had any troubles with in-channel visors (or stick-on for that matter).

    Work in progress...
I like the way the avs in channels look. I've had these on for over year no problems so far .

I’ve had in channel every thing I’ve had. Would never consider stick on. I’ve had zero issues...

I have those exact AVS. Had em over a year and no issues with windows or scratches on the vents themselves.

They look great, are you able to see through them or do they increase your blind spot

No, they're solid, but even when I had the transparent ones on my 17, I couldn't see through them, so no real different. I've driven around all day today with them on, and haven't noticed once that they were in my way.
