How much memory storage space is available in the unit itself? The TomTom maps are 2gb and they cannot be stored to external SD card????

So basically, the big thing this does that others don't.

You can connect via WIFI.
Otherwise, it would be like any other headset with a downloaded map you have to refresh if you don't have access to the internet via wifi.

While this is cool, I wish it would have given us an interface like ipods do for some stereos. You have pandora running on your phone, and you have the pandora app up on the stereo, and it loads the sound, art, etc. on the radio. You pull up google maps on your phone, and the map loads up on your radio so you can see it and hear it. That would make me buy it in a heartbeat. It seems that only iphones have that now..

 

I didn't notice, does this have HD Radio?

You use an app with offline maps. aka it downloads all the map information to the device and reads it from there. Just like a stand alone GPS device has all the maps pre-loaded.

 

Just so everyone is aware, I ordered this head unit and it has arrived with everything except the camera. I have reached out to them but have yet to receive a reply...Granted it has only been 1 day, hopefully they make it right. I will be sure to give a full review of the unit and let everyone know if they can trust that they will receive what they paid for.
