If your shocks use a top nut, LCA method might work.

And I've installed enough lifts that I dropped $800 on a branick wall mount. Free shipping Amazon prime :D

I've done the above method a number of times with no issues. I've also used a spring compressor from autozone (not a wall mount, those are retarded) and had zero issues. Without meaning any offense, I wonder if you are using said tools correctly. I've had zero issues swapping springs from OEM to Toytec to Old Man Emu with the same basic tools. I know you're super frustrated, but it might take a few hours on YouTube to finally find the method that will work for you. Best of luck.

Maybe I missed something? Did you have spacers in there before and are trying to install new struts? Or, are you trying to install Pro Comp struts and a spacer? If you have a spacer in there already of course the compressor wont fit, they are already compressed! And of course no shop would touch it with a spacer installed!

Not 100% following what the goal is here? Lift or better ride? In either case, neither will be achieved to any degree you will be happy with?

You took apart way too much stuff just for a shock swap. If you tied up your spindle before you disconnected it from the UCA, it wouldn't have pulled the axle out. Also brakes didn't have to come off either.
This is my wife's 4Runner but same thing...
You can see spindle tied off to the frame.

Got TC UCAs installed and kings extended travel coilovers after.
