I planned to replace the frozen AC compressor in my 2018 Tacoma.

Can somebody tell me whether my 2018 Tacoma has a filter in the refrigerant line?

19' Limited 4x4 (01' TRD OR, 97’ SR5 V6, 88’ SR5 Extra Cab)

You’d need to replace the condenser/dryer assembly and adjust oil level as necessary. The filter is in the dryer (which is part of the condenser).
